Cette semaine, Les Grands interprètes de la musique classique reviennent sur le parcours du pianiste et chef d’orchestre Philippe Entremont

Né à Reims en 1934, Philippe Entremont est l’un des plus célèbres pianistes et chefs d’orchestre français. Il fait des débuts fracassants à 18 ans au Carnegie Hall de New York dans les concertos de Jolivet et de Liszt.
Il joue et enregistre sous la direction de Igor Stravinsky, Darius Milhaud, Léonard Bernstein, Seiji Ozawa, Pierre Boulez, Eugene Ormandy, Léopold Stokowski… Et a donné plus de 7000 concerts à travers le monde, dont une centaine avec l’Orchestre de Philadelphie
