Abdel Rahman El Bacha enregistre une série de quatre ballades et scherzos de Chopin, auquel le pianiste franco-libanais dédie une bonne partie de sa carrière débutée dans les années 70, ayant notamment enregistré l'intégrale de l’œuvre pour piano seul de Chopin, la première intégrale chronologique.
